Earthy plaster hues, tatami benches and soft-toned interiors mirror give way to the color palette and textures within the Kyoto-originated offerings at the cafe. The Japanese cafe and boutique play on proportions with oversized boulders doubling as the lobby check-in to the hotel. Here, nature is welcomed inside with perfectly positioned indoor trees seating area, and guests are inspired to take a meditative pause from the weight of the city. A welcome service of ceremonial tea, matcha, artisan coffee, plus an excellent selection of natural wine and sake helps them wash away the stress they might’ve carried in.
